About

Our Story

Eagles United WFC was founded in 2024 to create accessible football opportunities for women and girls in Haringey and beyond. We welcome players aged 16+, offering open training sessions, league competitions, and a supportive environment where all abilities are valued.

Our mission is simple: make football open, affordable, and empowering for every woman who wants to play.

We have a UEFA C qualified coach with DBS and safeguarding certificates.

We train every Thursday at New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, London N22 5QW and are proudly FA Affiliated (ID: 108720).

Eagles celebrates the rich cultural diversity of North London. Our players come from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities, and experiences — and everyone is valued.

Ambition

Since our founding in 2024, we have competed in 5-a-side and 8-a-side leagues, took part in tournaments and organized our own successful tournaments. We aim to continue growing, competing, and expanding into an 11-a-side team.

Leagues and Achievements

2024

Won the All Nations 5-a-side B League twice

2025

Competed in the All Nations 5-a-side and 8-a-side leagues. Competed in the Super5 5-a-side league and won it one season. We also organized our very first tournament consisting of 10 teams

2026

Currently competing in the All Nations 5-a-side league, and earlier this year competed in the All Nations 8-a-side and Super5 5-a-side league. We actively participate in tournaments, and have already arranged our second successful annual tournament and took part in our first international tournament in Portugal. We will enter our first 11-a-side league for the 2026/2027 season (Sep 2026-April 2027). Locations: Douglas Eyre Sports Centre (North of the river) and Dulwich Sports Ground (South of the river).
